Leading US men are participating in a White House PSA against sexual assault. President Obama and Joe Biden come together with Daniel Craig, Benicio Del Toro, Steve Carell, Seth Meyers and Dulé Hill to address the issue. What is unique about this PSA is that it is all men; men, who seem to be directly addressing other men as a means to stop sexual assault with, "...we have to stop it, so listen up." Both of Tennessee's houses passed a law that criminalizes birth defects and stillborn births if prosecutors can prove they resulted from illegal drug abuse by the mother. State representative, Terri Weaver sponsored the bill in an effort to reduce NAS (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome), which is a group of problems related to the effects of withdrawal. Tennessee has the highest rate of NAS in the country.

Monica Jones, 29 and a sex-worker rights activist, was arrested and found guilty as a part of a Phoenix police prostitution-sting operation. The American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona has come to her defense. It deems the city ordinance as unconstitutional because it violates her freedom of speech and unfairly targets minorities and transgendered people.

Tuesday was Equal Pay Day. Broads, do you know how much you are paid? But the more important question is: do you know how much your peers are paid in relation to you? A woman still only makes 77 cents to every $1 a man makes. In light of these facts, President Obama went ahead and signed two executive orders, which will hopefully pave the way towards smaller pay discrepancy and raise the minimum wage pay to $10.10 in government contracts/workers.
