HB 2564 Parental consent for minors, informed consent with a 24 hours waiting period, prohibits physicians assistants from providing abortions, allows medical employees or institutions and pharmacies to refuse to admit a patient seeking an abortion on moral or religious grounds. Repealed Laws: HB 2036 (temporarily blocked) Puts limitations on medication abortion, includes rules on follow-up procedures after a medication abortion, and requires reporting of serious injuries and new penalties for noncompliance. Requires ultrasounds for all patients, parental consent for minors, requires that the physician offer parental hospice services for women whose fetus has a lethal condition, bans abortions at or after 20 weeks due to the assumption that the fetus feels pain during the abortion (April 2012).
